Orange Chicken Breast (grilled or stir fried)

List of Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon course ground salt
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 large orange juiced OR ½ cup of orange juice

Marinating the Chicken Breasts.

  1. Mix dry spices in a bowl.
  2. Puncture chicken breasts with a fork to create small holes.
  3. Coat both sides of Chicken Breasts with dry spices.
  4. Pour juice over the chicken breasts. Reserve about 1/3 of the just for later use.
  5. Marinate the chicken breast uncovered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Grill the Chicken Breasts.

  1. Oil the grill grate.
  2. Pre-heat Grill to Medium heat or 350°F.
  3. Cook chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness
  4. Spoon remaining 1/3 of orange juice on the chicken breasts as they cook.
  5. Ensure that the internal temperature of the chicken is cooked to 165°F.

Stir Fry the Chicken Breasts

  1. Cut the marinated chicken breasts into thumb sized pieces.
  2. Place the chicken breast pieces into a medium depth pan on medium heat.
  3. Pour the remaining 1/3 of orange juice into the pan as the chicken breasts are cooking.
  4. Ensure that the internal temperature of the chicken is cooked to 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken breasts from the pan and enjoy.

Special Notes.

  • This dish pairs very well with your favorite dish of veggies and rice.
